This week's indie pop juggernauts have their own set of flavours to showcase with Carson Ferris, Romain Gutsy & Drosz. Listen to their unique voicings and check out their songs here:
Carson Ferris-FOMO
His youthful voice has been a pop party anthem for some time now. Carson Ferris has conquered the world several times with his energizing pop, and each step has brought a new quality to his sound. FOMO is your rhythmic pop anthem, which sees Carson waltz with pockets of melodies and showcase the actual range of his voice. Crafting his own sound with the kind of observations and the true voice of a generation he has become, the tween years are left far behind. He resonates with us all in this avatar, and trust me, you’re missing out if you aren’t checking this out. Carson Ferris, ladies and gentlemen, at his very best:
Romain Gutsy-Eloisa
This gentleman from France will make you return time and again with his jazzy take on the singer-songwriter sound. It is a virtuoso, delivering to us time and again his best with evocative lyrics. A love letter whittled to its essentials is what Eloisa promises to be, instrumentals making a blooming wreath of love for this protagonist. Romain Gutsy prepares each moment to accent the previous, with gentle cascades and jazzy chord progressions. As much as he creates it to be a song, it is a mystery novel that keeps you hooked till the end. The melodic strength of the chorus will be enough to raise goosebumps on your arm. Terrific, yet petite:
Drosz-Fire
This artist knows how to create environments, synthesised to a feeling. This is incredibly difficult to do, yet there is a unique flavour that Drosz brings. It is an emotional escape hatch, where you’re ushered into the placid waters of change. The synth flow are your tidal waves for his vocals to glide upon. You are reminded of the zeal and explorative energy that Drosz holds in his voice, you crave for the evocative layers he is going to help you experience. Fire is the burning chakra of desire inside you, and like lightning in a bottle, Dross captures it in a single melody. From glowing embers to a growing flame. Listen to the song here:
