Hit the road with 3 in 1 indie rock this week with Raphael Davidson, Lou Z & Paul Cafcae

We're on a journey to different dimensions with indie rock this week, ft. Raphael Davidson, Lou Z & Paul Cafcae. Listen to their groovy numbers, and accelerate through your week here:

Raphael Davidson-Time Takes Time

That retro rock essence, that takes time. Mastering your style without sounding like an imitation is extremely difficult. Listen to Raphael Davidson. In his latest track, he makes that 80s rock influence not only apparent, but a testament to his style and incredible taste in composition. Not only is the tone of the guitar crisp and clean, there is a vibe here that transcends the lyrics and notations. His soft vocals are the crust of the crème, making a perfect balance between the tonal qualities. Lyrics are profound, as he explores our relationship with something so intangible-yet present. Raphael Davidon makes a unique indie rock track that helps you breathe in, a new perspective:

Lou Z-Belongs to Us

You can’t tell me that opening didn’t give you goosebumps. Experimenting in sonic layers like no one else, you can’t really know Lou Z’s musical inspirations. Not from his album, for there is a mixture here that only he knows the secret proportions of. This brilliant audio scientist makes a collection that you have every right to debate over, for there might be no singular “best song”. In Belongs to Us, there is an ambient bleed that interacts with a strong riff and percussive section. Almost like a Moby song here, his vocals are the symphonic stereo ayahuasca that becomes your stepping stone to the next dimension. His album Holes for the Hearts weaves a lot of the know, with what we don’t:

Paul Cafcae-Fresh Wind Blowing

If you heard Paul’s previous single, pressing that green button might have taken you aback. From a track that sounded like the musings of Bert Jansch with Pentagram, Paul gives us a Tom Petty styled 80s rock song that doesn’t miss a breath. It is an instant, explosive spark plug of a song, which becomes the origin of indie rock in every way. Paul Cafcae is at his contrasting best, lyrics still balancing on the razor’s edge of realism. This is what the ignition key craves, an inch of inspiration. Here, you have 100 miles of it. Paul is your bona fide rock star, but he might surprise you the next song, once again:
