Derek Eyden-Blood on Your Lips
You’ve missed riff based rock. I know, for I have too. Derek Eyden seems to have more than a vial of remedy for us. Blood on Your Lips is his latest single, swinging with that radio rock energy. It has the zeal of a champagne pop, and the rest just rocks. The ease with which he sings his lyrics have that Tom Petty swagger to it. There is a bluesy core to it, but is wrapped with that classic rock gift wrap that makes it such a magnetic and charismatic number. The verse will become a tattoo on your wrist-part of your memory with every breath. This is the ignition key for your long ride, and we’re not waiting very long:
Michellar-LOVE EARTH
Michelle Bond can really paint a picture with her music. It is an interesting cove of music to be absorbed into-her expressive lyrics fusing with soft, soothing instrumentals. She is almost aware of every note, and with LOVE EARTH, she is able to express that more. The California Fields singer has brought some poignant poetry to us with her song-where her vocals reflect the essence of the emotion. She is able to dissect the fragments of what makes the moment special-and carry the complexity of the song with her. When the song builds like a ballad, you can visualise what she brings to life. A love that will last for generations to come:
Mad Bad World-Weirdo
Mad Bad World draws you in with its immersive atmospheres—music that doesn’t just play but absorbs you. Their compositions hold you in suspense for a moment, just long enough to make you pause and take it all in. One second, you’re hearing an experimental guitar slicing through the mix; the next, smooth, soothing vocals wash over you, breaking any sense of monotony."Weirdo," the second track from their debut album Mercy Memory, is a seamless fusion of psychedelic tones, pop, and rock in perfect proportion. It carries the spirit of Tame Impala orbiting through another cosmic journey, while its raw energy channels the thrill of a post-grunge anthem. It’s the kind of song that sticks with you, drawing you in on a deeply personal level—one you’ll find yourself coming back to again and again:
