Indie rock dyes itself different colours of passion with music from Mantrix Storm, Powers of the Monk & Jack O’ The Clock. Listen to the songs here and follow them for more!:

Mantrix Storm-U, de stad

Hailing from Utrecht, Netherlands, this solo artist is creating his own creche of sound. Inspired by many classic artists, this is a revival of a wave that can be ridden. Singing in Dutch, he brings his culture, tradition and appreciation of sound all rolled in one. After the success of his debut album Terug van weggeweest, this is the first single that changes it all. He is now comfortable with his sound, the composition is bundled with joy and is composed brilliantly. When harmonics come around, he makes sure that you can feel the emotion and strength behind the song. Mantrix Storm is prepared to change the winds of time to let us hear what a true experience is supposed to sound like. Listen to his single here:

Powers of the Monk-Strip the Bone (Remix)

It gets groovier. This is something you will feel for sure, upon clicking the play button. Powers of the Monk return with a revival of a song that runs on a whole new pulse. It is exciting, tonally different and bouncing off the walls with energy. The steady percussive beat is amazing behind the zeal of the song and the composition changing to a whole new flavour. The sound has an exciting bounce and the duo bring their A-game to what you get to hear. From the reggae like breeze of the original, there is a dance groove that has been accented in this remix. David S. Monk and CasSondra "Pontiac" Powers are grinding it down to the bone:

Jack O’ The Clock-I’m OK, You’re A Shithead

Ever read the book series I’m ___, you’re ____? Written by Thomas Anthony Harris, it was a reflection on self and others-psychologically. Jack O’ The Clock makes a play on the same with this groovy, exciting number. The rhythmic percussive background mixes with the soft vocals give a reality check like an old-fashioned, making the best of the moment. The melodic sprinkles are filled with character and passion, the band going all out for this album, Portraits. Each track is a different look at yourself, and the melodies express the same. This is music that makes you think and feel. Finally, all the heart and brain you’ve ever wanted to experience in art. I’m okay, when music like this exists:
