Jacob and the Starry Eyed Shadows-Where the Light Takes You Home

Get ready for vivid, beautiful inspiration. Jacob is a dreamer, but optimism can take you only so far. So his music takes him the rest of his way. The latest single is called Where the Light Takes You Home, something that has an aspiring melody and can almost make the atmosphere change in front of you. The motifs from the piano accent his voice while harmonies will crochet a parachute for you to glide back into the stratosphere. These are the kind of lyrics that define purpose, push you to do more. Jacob makes sure there are no overpowering elements, just the essence and message that makes you see that beaming light:

Jackal Twins-One Eyed Wolf

This is music that will remind you of the spine you have. Jackal Twins want to go heavy, like a red-hot anvil falling on your chest while you’re packed with rage. Diabolical statement? Allow me to welcome you to One Eyed Wolf, the second single from their album Cuzco. From the first second, you’re subjected to a monstrous rhythm section that is demented to listen to. You can feel your blood boil– then comes the time signature instrumental pockets before they go to town. I challenge you to expect anything that comes at you in this song. Knocked Loose, hear Jackal Twins coming. All that you’ll remember is the heavy claw of the One Eyed Wolf:

The Amber Bugs-The Protagonist

You tasted experimental explosions in your mind-mouth now. Now for something more textured, yet discombobulating. The Amber Bugs are here with their latest EP called Sculptures, and The Protagonist really spoke to me. Not only is it a very visual, articulate layout made out of just melodies and lyrics-the screenplay is a complex non sequitur of a symphony. Just when you follow a part of the story, another opens–almost like you’re in the plot of Snatch, by Guy Ritchie. The instrumentals will carry the emotive mood of the song, while larger pockets might even unfold like a drama. The My My My band have found a chemistry that is radioactive (in the good way), and you get to be the centre of attention, why with your fancy headphones:
