Bring the rock on with world-class tunes ranging from hooks to stories ft. 9 o'clock Nasty, Magne Skålnes & Andrew Schneider. Listen to the songs here with us and flow into state:
9 o’clock Nasty-King Thing
They are ahead of their time. 9 o’clock Nasty are back with a re-release of their 2022 number, King Thing. Keep the volume loud, for the drum groove should echo through the soul of your neighbour. King Thing is one of those singles that becomes your swagger sound, with the wah pedal accenting your corduroy jeans swishing in the winter chill. The remix has pulled a balance on the kind of attention each of the instruments deserve, and a lot more on how much the track deserves. It is the build-up to which crime is committed, to which resolve is made-the tune that takes other tunes on in a fistfight. Here’s the win, and it's a K.O:
Magne Skålnes-Steinen
The bellowing belly of rock returns with a class and style-when Magne Skålnes is around. The singer-songwriter enjoys a special relationship with live music-wherein his expression is unique and heartfelt. Steinen is the kind of song that gives you goosebumps, for it is emotional and exotic. There is a piano melody accenting the rich and country styled guitar riff. Over this, you hear his strong and passionate vocals as well. The Nordic musician brings pride to his nation with the kind of rendition he makes in this song, a swelling tune that depicts country rock love with enduring symphonies to follow. Listen to the Heim singer make another song for the records:
Andrew Schneider-Femme Fatale
The musician from Chicago would obviously have something intense prepared. It is the foreshadowing of the music-rich place. Andrew Schneider takes that on as an even better challenge, making a dramatic, genre-infused number. It’s like walking in to a coffee shop and seeing an entire broadway single unfold in front of your eyes. From vulnerability and clever lyrics brewed with the backdrop of baroque instrumentals, Andrew Schneider is an exposé on how music doesn’t have to fold into any genre. The tune has a fair sprinkle of pop, jazz, lounge, bossa nova and salsa in parts, genres even I’m not sure of. The result, me left smiling with a visual proposal of a song:
